What is rubber magnets / plastic magnets / flexible magnets
Rubber magnetsis made of bonded ferrite magnet powder (SrO6Fe2O3), compound rubber (CPE) and other materials (EBSO, DOP) etc. By extruding, rolling or injecting, the combination can be made into soft, plastic and flexible magnets with different shapes which are depend on the requests from clients. The surface of rubber magnet can be kinds of printing papers and synthetic papers, PVC vinyl, colorful PVC vinyl, PP vinyl, double-side self-adhesive, metal sheet etc. The maximum energy product is from 0.6 and 1.5MGOe.
Applications: refrigerator, bulletin board, fastern parts, toys, educational instruments, switches and sensors, micro motors, Sterilizer, stationery, Ads etc.
So called rubber magnets or plastic magnets, is actually bonded permanent magnet material. Putting approperiate permanent magnetic materials' particles (best with acicular particles like very small compass) into rubber or plastics, mixing them intensively, and then forming into required dimensions and shapes by extruding, rolling or injecting, finally we end up with so called rubber magnets or plastic magnets. For example: door-sealing of a refrigerator is very popular rubber magnet.
There are Isotropic and anisotropic rubber magnets.
"Isotropic"means no external magnetic field added when pressing/moulding of rubber magnets/plastic magnets. In this way, the magnetic particles are arranged at random. The magnetic force of isotropic rubber magnets is weaker and the cost is lower accordingly.
"Anisotropic"means adding external magnetic field when pressing/moulding rubber magnets/plastic magnets, in this way, the magnetic particles are all arranged to the same direction, the higher the external magnetic field the better of the particle arrangement which result in higher magnetic property, and the cost is higher accordingly.
Magnetization Flexible Magnetic sheet is always multiple pole magnetized with magnetic pitch 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 7.0mm etc. Flexible Magnetic sheet could also be magnetized with single pole on one surface and magnetized thru thickness.
